Norfolk is located at the junction of the Elizabeth River and Chesapeake Bay and is recognized as the central business district of Hampton Roads. Norfolk's 144 miles of shoreline offers ample opportunity for waterfront living. Norfolk is packed with shopping and dining opportunities as well as sightseeing and recreational offerings. The one-million square foot MacArthur Center in downtown Norfolk is a shopper's dream. It houses 140 stores, an 18-screen theater and restaurants all surrounded by a beautiful atrium. Palace Station and Shops of Historic Ghent offer antique shops, eclectic boutiques and signature local shops.
